Calculation rules have been adopted in order to evaluate the resistance of any construction, anywhere in the U.K.. They are expressed in the ‘British Standard 6399, 1988’. Part 3, Section 2 of these rules is established to classify the different types of resistance according according to the climatic conditions. Therefore, map of snow loads and wind speeds show what weather conditions the construction would have to resist to.
